- From you to love by Nageen Khan Chapter 4/Love Story/Army based novel/Romance novels/contemporary romantic novel/soicial romantic novel/English novel/urdu novel
“When you fall in love with a person, then you will recognize his habits, his footsteps, even his silence. Love is a very pure emotion like our parents and siblings love us unconditionally and we love them too just like Allah loves us and once in our life we fell in love with a person and if that love is pure then Allah Almighty sealed that love with the sacred bond of marriage. And the purest form of love is marriage. Just like you can’t stop thinking about Afaq.” Inshal spoke the last sentence teasingly, at which Maria chuckled because it was the truth.

“See, now you don’t have an answer, that’s why you are threatening me…. By the way, tell me, is the truth bitter?” This man was his boss, but was more like a father-figure to him, so with this man he became a completely different person. He was a pretty serious person, but his father-like personality brought out the child in him because whenever he spouted nonsense, this man would bear it.
“My dear, I don’t have that much free time, but I am going soft on you and now you are taking full advantage of it…” the boss reminded him of his responsibilities.

“Why should I give them to you? You don’t look poor. Get out of the way.” This time, he really looked at her. Maheen was completely covered in a black shawl. Her wheatish skin tone and mesmerizing eyes stood out, and the black shawl made her look even more beautiful. He pushed the thought away.
“You seem poor because you have four eyes and still can’t see.” She taunted him about his sunglasses.
“You seem to be really free. Now get out of the way. I want to reach somewhere quickly.” His gaze remained fixed on the back seat.
“I don’t want to get out of the way. What will you do?” She replied in the same tone.
“Come here. Take the car keys, and you take care of the man who is unconscious in the back seat. I am going.” He took her near the car, showed her the back seat, and handed her the car keys.
“W-What happened to him?” She instantly grew worried.
“He fainted, and I am taking him to the hospital. And you, strange woman, wouldn’t get out of the way.” Now he was blaming her.
“I-I am sorry.” She stepped aside, and he had already gotten into his car. He drove away at speed. She looked at the car for quite some time. Suddenly, the bus horn startled her. She Got on the bus. When she looked at her watch she realized she had wasted a lot of time.
“He made me late. Stupid man.” She thought to herself and gave him that title.
**********
“Oh, come on, gentleman. I was waiting for you… you’ve come late.” He knew someone was waiting for him.
“Now you start scolding me. I am already quite angry, and my temper is very short.” He even got angry at the man’s simple tone.
“Well, when was your temper ever not short? Have you ever seen a calm moment like that?” The man was watching his expression, but that was the only way to lighten his mood.
“Have you forgotten that this so-called rotten and short-tempered mind strategizes all your moves and gets your work done? If you say, I can throw it away…then you will finally get the chance to use your brilliant mind. I mean, your so-called brilliant mind is only a burden if you keep it as a crown on your head but never use it. Freedom is also your right.”
Now he was joking, which meant the man had successfully managed to lift his mood.

It was midnight, and Jake still hadn’t gone home. Lately, every time he returned, he sensed a presence someone watching him. At first, he brushed it off as overthinking, but soon, he began to feel something far worse an illusory touch brushing against his skin. Each time, it left him shuddering with cold dread.
Convinced he was losing his mind, Jake even went to a psychiatrist, fearing schizophrenia. But no diagnosis came, and no answers. The fear remained.
Now, Jake was too terrified to return home, so he decided to spend the night at his friend’s place. Yet even there, unease gnawed at him. Something unseen tugged at the edges of his mind, keeping him restless.
“For God’s sake, man cheer up there is no one following you I am sure it’s just in your mind.” Leonard tried to console him but it came out harsh.
“I know you don’t trust me but can you not be so conceited,” Jake yelled
“What the hell bro here I am trying to help you…. Okay, let’s just forget about this whole fiasco why don’t we go somewhere for fun?” Leonard’s voice softened at Jack’s horror-stricken face
Somewhere fun like where Jake sighs halfheartedly.
“Umm, where people are not scarce look dude living alone is not good for your fear you should be in the company of many people where you feel the vibrancy of life and maybe then you will forget this fear of yours…… Hey hey, I am not trying to undermine your fear but” Leonard holds his hand up by the pitiful look on Jake’s face.
“Fine.” Jake almost spat this word but “where do you think we should go I don’t like clubbing too much noise and everyone trying to cozy up to you for no good reason.”
Leonard rolls his eyes “When did I say we would go clubbing may be we can go hiking. Why because there are many people there?” Jake frowned “You say there are more people…….” He stopped looking at the shine in Leonard’s eyes.
“Well, you are inquiring which means you are ready for a trip.”
“Whatever” Jake can only say this because he was also tired from the constant fear engulfing him.
The next day at noon when Jake was at gym because he couldn’t go home it has been one week and he hasn’t been home since then so he would either be at Leonard’s house or gym he wasn’t going to work either because he didn’t want an episode of intense fear to hit him at the office where everyone thinks of him as a crazy and insane monster.
